San Blas Island Tour

This is a one-day tour from around 5:30 am to 6:30-7:00 p.m. Tourists are transferred by a 4X4 vehicle from Panama City, on the Pacific side to Carti Port, on the Caribbean side, taking around 2.5 hrs. 

Suitupu Island. From Carti Port it takes a 45 minutes-boat ride to the Suitupu Island, the largest of the Carti group of islands. The tour starts around 10:00 a.m. with tourists walking around the island and learning about the native Guna culture, which has its autonomous way of life and is protected by Panama law. There is also a small museum about Guna people. Other activities include swimming and snorkeling in neighbouring islands such as Dog Island and Yansailadup Island, enjoying Guna-style lunch with variety of seafood in one of these islands. Return to Panama city by 3:00 p.m.
